I know this is what most people want to hear but lets face it, the only way you’re going to get rich quickly is by winning the lottery or receiving that inheritance from crazy uncle Pete who always looked at you kind of funny when he visited you for the holidays. The rest of us tend to take that mundane 9-5 job that wears us into the ground and rips our soul out of us until we are numb and feel like lifeless zombies…right! Well maybe not everyone but we have all come across people like this over the years.
Next we have what I like to call “the fighters” who are always working overtime when available, or maybe picking up some side work for extra income. The fighters will work as many hours as it takes to get that little extra income to make sure they can pay the bills only to live comfortably in middle class.
Similar to the fighters you have “the cheapskates” we definitely all know some and if you don’t; then its probably you. The cheapskates are the people that when you go out to eat with them leave exact change, others we don’t know intimately and tend to think and say “wow, they seem pretty well off” when in reality they do not spend a nickel on anything other than the necessities. Now I don’t about you but working all those extra hours for some extra coin, or being so tight that I don’t want to spend any extra cash on something I might enjoy due to the fear that it will throw off my end of the month budget, this is not the road to getting rich.
